There are two ways to redeem:

1. In-store

Present the eGift Card from your smartphone or a printed copy.
After use, any remaining balance will be shown on the receipt.
It is your responsibility to retain the receipt and eGift Card for future use.
Multiple eGift Cards can be used in a single transaction, up to a total of £250.
If items are returned in accordance with our refund policy (Refund Policy), any refund will be credited back to your eGift Card.

2. Online at www.sainsburys.co.uk

eGift Cards can be used only for Sainsbury’s Online Groceries, not at tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk.
The maximum value that can be redeemed in one transaction is £250.
A minimum order value of £40 and delivery fees apply.
The eGift Card cannot be used to pay for delivery charges.
Customers must register and accept the terms and privacy policy at www.sainsburys.co.uk.

Conversion required:

To use online, convert your eGift Card to an online coupon:

Enter your eGift Card code and PIN at checkout.
Enter the amount to convert.
Any remaining balance will require the code and PIN for future conversions.
The online coupon will expire 24 months after conversion.

If your order drops below the converted coupon value due to substitutions, the full coupon value will still be used and the balance credited to your online grocery coupon wallet.

Refunds from online purchases will also be credited back to your coupon wallet.

Works a treat every time. I've used Sainsbury's gift cards a number of occasions and it's spot on every time with instant delivery. One point to note: despite the description saying you can't use it online, you can actually change up to a maximum of £50 gift card into a voucher on the website and then apply this to your basket.

Great service from BitRefill & easy to use voucher. I've used these several times now online for grocery delivery however there's a maximum of £50 that can be used in one go (per delivery).

My first go at redeeming a voucher using Bitrefill. Overall a good experience, though only issue was with the barcode not scanning in store, so the number had to be tapped-in. Will be interesting in future to see if this happens again. If not, it will give me confidence to spend more on subsequent vouchers. Excellent and practical way for those wanting to spend Bitcoin and other crypto on everyday items, especially when the price is rising.

This eGift Card may be redeemed in full or as part payment for goods at Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd. It can only be used in-store or online at www.sainsburys.co.uk.

It cannot be used for purchases via:

The Sainsbury’s App
Over the phone
At Sainsbury’s Petrol Stations
Any concessions within Sainsbury’s stores

Important Notes

This eGift Card is not a credit, payment, or cheque guarantee card.
It cannot be redeemed for cash, Sainsbury’s Bank products, services, or credit card balances.
It cannot be resold or re-tendered.

Expiry

The value of this eGift Card expires 24 months from the date of initial activation (see expiry date above). If unused within this period, the card will be deactivated and any remaining balance lost. Treat this eGift Card like cash – it cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged.

Security and Changes

Sainsbury’s is not responsible for any unauthorised use of the eGift Card.
Sainsbury’s reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
